Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or wash them with soap and water

Why.? Washing hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based antiseptic to kill viruses that may be in your hands.

Stay at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between themselves and anyone who coughs or sneezes.

Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray tiny droplets from the nose or mouth which may contain viral them. If you get too close, you can inhale droplets, including viruses COVID-19 if the person has the disease coughs.

Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up the virus. Once contaminated, the hands can transfer the virus to the eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

Make sure you and those around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means close your mouth and nose with a bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of used tissues immediately.

Why? Droplet spread the virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect those around you from viruses such as colds, flu and COVID-19.

Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of local health authorities.

Why? National and local governments will have the most up to date information about the situation in your area. Calling in advance will allow your healthcare provider to quickly direct you to the appropriate health facility. It also will protect you and help prevent the spread of viruses and other infections.
