Although it is largely the same for adults and children, there are some differences. Children are a common carrier of the flu virus and spread quickly, and because they are not the best on hygiene practices (such as washing their hands, or cough and sneeze on each other), the flu spreads quickly among children.

Every child can be exposed to the flu, but it is very common in settings such as daycare and school. Here is a list of the children.

They tend to run a fever more often than adults. Almost everyone was running a fever when they have the flu, but they may be higher in children. These high fever is not always a problem as long as the child feel a little better after you give Tylenol or Motrin. If your child does not become elated after taking febrifuge, contact their health care provider.

Children definitely an experience and pain when they were exposed to the flu, but it may be difficult for them to tell you how they feel. Only a general description of “I do not feel good” or “aching all over” may be all you get. But if they have other flu symptoms as well, you can be pretty sure that they have body aches, too.

Coughing is cold enough for adults and children, and can vary from dry to wet sound. If you see a whistling or when your child is coughing or breathing ,, because this could be a sign that he was having trouble breathing.

Congestion is flu-like symptoms that some people experience to a greater extent than others. If your child has a lot of congestion with the flu, you’ll want to keep an eye out for ear and sinus infections, which often occurs in children when they are very solid, and mucus does not flow quite well.

To minimize the buildup of mucus, make sure you run a good humidifier, encourage your child to drink plenty of water, and have him blow his nose frequently. If he is too young to blow his nose, the suction spray and use salt drops are also effective.

They were not very common symptoms for children when they are not sick, but they are common symptoms of the flu. A young child may not tell you that he had a headache, but when she complained of pain anywhere in his head, he is unlikely.

Sore throat is another common symptom of the flu. Although it is one of the most common causes of sore throat in children, a sore throat that comes along with the flu can be very bad. It may not be quite as intense as inflammation, and usually does not hurt so bad that it is hard to swallow. If you are not sure if your child’s sore throat is caused by strep or flu, taking her to the doctor to be tested.

Although many people believe that vomiting and diarrhea are common flu symptoms, they really do not. When most adults significant ill with vomiting and diarrhea, they have a stomach virus, not the flu. Children do, however, and diarrhea with flu quite often. It differs from a stomach virus because it will also be accompanied by flu-like symptoms, such as cough and congestion -. Not only vomiting, diarrhea and fever

Children can experience ear pain with flu even if they do not have an ear infection. Mucus builds up in the sinuses, causing pressure and pain, and some children feel that pain in their ears. If the pain persists or becomes severe, your child may have developed as a complication of the flu. Many ear infections in children will go on their own but to contact their health care provider if you have a problem, and advice about treatment.

Most of us do not feel like eating very much when we’re sick, and the same applies to children. If your child is too young to tell you how he’s feeling, the first signs of the disease may be a decrease in appetite. Children will often seem more tired than usual and do not eat well before they show other symptoms of flu. If you begin to notice that your child’s appetite has decreased and he is not as active as usual, watching him for other flu symptoms and contact their health care provider if you notice any. under the age of 5 at very high risk of serious complications from flu affected and may be able to take if symptoms are caught early enough.

If your child develops a combinationThis phenomenon, he might have the flu. The only way to know for sure is to take your child to the doctor to have him examined and tested. Most children who get the flu recover, but the children are at high risk, especially those under the age of 5. Unfortunately, few children die from the flu each year, so take all the precautions you can take to avoid the flu, and protect your children from it as well.
